The San Pellegrino Cafe Society photography competition has been running for a 16 years in Australia.

The brief was: “Café society is undoubtedly influenced by fashion and design, impacting both the look and feel of a café and the people that frequent it. Capture this unique style as it is reflected in your café.”

I created this series of photographs based on the brief at Maggio’s Cafe in Cammeray, Sydney. The photograph I submitted won first place in the competition.
