Huhtamaki TP is a global company that specializes in packaging for food and drinks. Their goal is to be an innovator in the sustainable packaging industry. As the Senior Graphic Designer, I was responsible for developing the creative direction and brand collateral for various new products.

A number of people helped develop product ranges at Huhtamaki – Rhiannon Alexander (Graphic Designer), Laurie Marinoni & Rebecca Ng (Product Managers), Sofia Varano (Art Series Artworks) and Keith Brown (First Nations Cup Artwork).

Art Series Coffee Cups

Huhtamaki decided to introduce a fresh collection of sustainable coffee cups with vibrant and lively illustrations. I conducted research on various artists and selected Sofia Varano to create three separate artworks for the cups.

Utilizing the artwork, I designed the packaging for the cups as well as marketing materials such as gif animations. Additionally, I developed a product campaign that around both sustainability and art.

Cups That Connect

Huhtamaki partnered with CorporateConnect.AB to launch a new line of coffee cups showcasing First Nations artworks. CCAB is dedicated to bridging the gap in First Nations disadvantage and proceeds from the sale of these cups will support First Peoples.

The range is Supply Nation-certified. The artist Keith Brown, a proud Ngarabal man, was commissioned to create two artworks featuring totem animals. I oversaw the development of the creative direction, packaging artworks and marketing assets.

Jamaica Blue Coffee Promotional Cups

JB came to Huhtamaki to create promotional coffee cups for their Christmas and Coffee For Life campaigns. I conceptualised and created cup designs for both campaigns including managing the print production and sampling process.

Let’s work together!
